Football :
Tripura Police entered in to semi-final in the domestic Rakhal Memorial Knock-out football tournament today.
Police registered an emphatic win over Tripura Sports School (4-1) goals in the penalty shoot outs. At Dashrath Dev Stadium, Badharghat, both the teams were locked in scheduled 90 and even in the extra time (30 mintues). Then the match was decided by penalty shoots. Former school international Police custodian Kanai Yadav saved two shoots to lead police to a much needed win.
Gymnastics :
State Level Gymnastics Championship held at Netajee Subhash Regional Coaching Center (NSRCC). Altogether 95 gymnasts of 23 teams including Tripura Sports School, SAI SAG, Umakanta NSTC Center, BSF and Vivekanda Vyamagar took part in the tournament.
