The first Semifinal of Rakhal Memorial Shield knock-out football tournament between SAI SAG and Tripura Police has been abundant here today.
Due to protest against Referees decision SAI SAG footballers were refused to play. At the Dasharath Dev Stadium, Badharghat, SAG footballers protest against referee’s decision of penalty in 82 minutes of the play. The match was locked 0-0 that time. SAG footballer demanded to withdraw this decision. But referee Raktim Saha turn down the appeal and blew final whistle after waiting 12 minutes. According to tournament rules Tripura Police virtually wins this match and moved in to final on August 11 next.
