Football :
Forward Club registered first win in the domestic First Division League Football tournament here today. At the Dashrath Dev Stadium, Badharghat, Forward Club beat Nine Bullets Club by 2-1 goals. Winning team took lead 1-0 before lemon break by Negib Houkip. After the break, Nigerian striker Benjamin leveled the score (1-1). But Houkip struck again and Forward Club finished the match 2-1. After this match, Forward opened their account with three points from three matches while Bullets now three points from three matches.

An Executive meeting of Tripura Cricket Association will be held on August 31 next.

Kho-Kho :
State Level Sub Junior Kho-Kho championship starts at Kamalnagar of Sonamura Sub-division today. Altogether 13 teams were took part in this two-day tournament. Forest Minuster Jitendra Chowdhury opened the tournament.
