Football :
Lalbahadur Vyamagar edged over Birendra Club by 2-1 goals in the domestic First Division League Football tournament here today. At the Dasharath Dev Stadium, Badharghat, both the teams were locked in first half. After lemon break, Malsama Tulunga scored brace and Lalbahadur took lead by 2-0 goals. Suran Bhakta Jamatia scored one for Birendra. With this win Lalbahadur bagged vital three points.

Athletics :
Tripura bagged another two Gold, two Silver and two Bronze in the East Zone Junior Athletics Championship at Jamshedpur today. Raju Debnath (5 kilometer Walk) and Jiten Debbarma (High jump) bagged Gold medals. Pantu Das Purakayastha (10 kilometer walk) and Liton Debbarma (High Jump) lifted Silver and Amjad Hussein (600 meters run) and Debendra Singh (Javelin) bagged Bronze medals. Earlier Tripura bagged three Gold, one Silver and two Bronze.
