Lalbahadur Vyamagar defeated defending champion Ageya Cholo Sangha by 2-1 goals in the Super League of domestic First Division Football tournament here today. In a crucial match at the Dasharath Dev Stadium, Lalbahadur took the lead 2-0 before lemon break. Malsama Tulunga scored first in 14th minute from a penalty and Tejuka increased the lead 2-0 in 40th minute. After break, Joydeep Debnath scored lone goal for Ageya Cholo. Rajesh Parshi showed red card by referee. With this victory, Lalbahadur earned 14 points from seven matches while Ageya Cholo now 11 points from same numbers of match.
Cricket :
Tripura lost their last match in the Buchibabu Trophy Invitation Cricket Tournament in Chennai today. In the last day of two-day match, Karnataka beat Tripura by six wickets. Set for the victory of 169 runs, Karnataka touched the winning total by losing four wickets. Tripura bowed out from this tournament after three defeats.
