Football :
North Eastern Federation Cup Football tournament will be held at Belonia of South Tripura district from September 25 next. Finance Minister Badal Chowdhury was opened this tournament. Five teams including Ageya Cholo Sangha of Tripura will participate in this tournament. Gopinath Paiyn was nominated Match Commissioner of this tournament. Four officials – Rathin Mukharjee and Biplab Podder both from Bengal, S. Sujauddin from Jharkhanda and J. P. Pandit from Bihar – also conduct this tournament. Two top teams will qualify for next phase of tournament.

Litan Saha was selected as captain of Tripura sub-junior football at Halduyani, Uttaranchal this year. Altogether twenty footballers were selected by Tripura Football Association. Selected players are, Arup Nag, Sanjoy Debbarma, Joswa Debbarma, Hafiz Sadhan Jamatia, Prasenjit Ghosh, Amrit Debbarma, Ajit Debbarma, Rexona Debbarma, Emanuel Debbarma, Litan Saha (Captain), Pritam Debbarma, Dijaraj Ghosh, Biswajit Harijan, Ramajoy Reang, Pradip Marak, John Debbarma, Sukesh Debbarma, Pabitra Sadhan Jamatia, Nilakishor Jamatia and Rajib Debbarma. Cricket :
Twenty women cricketers were selected for selection cum trial camp of Tripura Cricket Association. The camp started on Saturday last. Selected cricketers are, Anita Debbarma, Rima Chakraborty, Annapurna Das, Priyanka Acherjee, Moutoshi Dey, Indrarani Jamatia, Silpi Debbarma, Rita Debbarma, Bina Jamatia, Tagori Debnath, Ruma Das, Sarvani Debnath, Sujaita Roy, Mouchaiti Debnath, Pampi Das, Sushmita Chakraborty, Sulakhana Roy, Shymali Deb, Snigdha Sinha and Alivia Sinha.
Table Tennis :
Udaipur bagged both Men & Women team title in the State Level Table Tennis Championship here today. In the second day of this championship at Friends Union Club of Agartala team championship was finished in all section.
